We built Halo Water Proofing around a simple promise: show up when we say, tell you the truth about what's wrong, and fix it so it stays fixed.
Every Cornelius technician we send is background-checked and trained on the exact equipment we install — not a subcontractor picked up for the day.
We've worked on foundations from decades-old Cornelius homes to brand-new builds still settling into their soil, so whatever your basement is dealing with, we've likely seen a version of it nearby.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.

If the basement smells damp no matter the season, water is likely finding a way in somewhere you can't see.
Small cracks in a Cornelius foundation rarely stay small — seasonal ground movement tends to widen them over time.
Efflorescence is a reliable early sign that water is moving through your Cornelius foundation wall right now.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
If a foundation wall looks like it's curving inward, that's beyond a simple patch and needs a real assessment.
These upstairs clues usually show up months after the basement moisture problem actually started.
Whatever's going on with your Cornelius property, chances are we've already fixed something similar nearby this month.
A flooded Cornelius basement doesn't wait for morning, and neither do we. Our crews get it out and start drying the space the same visit.

Every Cornelius quote is written before work starts, not estimated verbally and adjusted later.
You get documentation of the work plus a real warranty — not just a handshake.
We've heard every Cornelius horror story about contractors who disappear mid-job or pad the invoice. Here's how we do it differently.
There's no verbal quote that grows once the crew shows up — the written estimate is final.
A local dispatch model means the technician who answers your questions is the same one who shows up.
If a covered repair fails, we come back and fix it. That's part of the contract, not just a promise.
If your Cornelius basement just needs a small crack seal instead of a full system, that's exactly what we'll tell you.
Filing a claim can be confusing — we've walked Cornelius customers through this process many times.
Every Cornelius job reflects on the next referral, so we treat each one like it matters.
"Called during a storm and had a tech at my door within two hours. Explained everything before touching anything — basement's been dry since."
"Fair price, on time, cleaned up after. Wish every contractor worked this way."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Handled waterproofing for our parking structure with minimal disruption to tenants and stuck to the schedule."
"French drain install took two days exactly as quoted, and the yard looked better than before."
"First contractor who actually explained where the water was coming from instead of just quoting a number."
"Crew was respectful of our landscaping during the drain install and left the yard looking better than before they started."
Every Cornelius technician we send is background-checked and trained on the systems we install, so the crew that inspects your property is the same one that fixes it.
